I watched this popular video adaptation of a podcast the Fall of Civilizations about Carthage.
Some interesting takes from the video/podcast:
1. a common practice of Phoenicians to build their city states on islands and peninsulas.
The more recent bases at Venice in Italy, Canary Wharf in London and Manhattan in NYC – both river islands able to receive sea shipping.
2. Phoenicians were the traders, established the credit network
The video footages used in the video are from BBC among others. I wonder how Cooper got rights to use them. Anyway conveniently the Phoenician traders on the street market are portrayed by some Arabs and dark skinned Africans so no show of proper hooked noses as you would expect. Remember the secret rulers are the directors (also of the documentaries) that’s why they remain secret.
3. the Greek alphabet was based on Phoenician alphabet, Roman alphabet was derived from Greek.
How come young Rome could emerge victorious in conflict with Carthage unless some Phoenician bankers have already moved their capital from Carthage to this new European hegemon?
I think Rome in the eyes of Phoenician investors was more sustainable long term than Carthage. There is the Sahara Desert behind Carthage while there is a fertile continent behind Rome.
It is worth noting that Carthaginians with their superior navy resemble the Greek Athenians while Romans with their superior infantry resemble the Spartans. Just a coincidence, I know.
4. Phoenician traveller named Hanno (I reckon another Barca(lays)) reported on Celts peddling in their kayaks.
These Celts later become a Phoenician muscle in Spain, Brittany, Hiberna and Albion even fighting for them in the Punic Wars in Sicily. These days the Irish are the service men and service women of the Phoenicians living for instance in Manhattan. They built all their shit for pennies to the dollar.
From another documentary of Cooper about the Bronze Age Collapse it looks like the Sea People who destroyed much of Eastern Mediterranean were Celts.
It’s not a surprise that our Phoenicians specialise in weaponising their subordinate mercenary nations and eventually unleashing them onto their targets.
The theory of a volcanic eruption causing global famine convinces me – the idea that the Sea People were not simple invaders but more like armed refugees searching for food.
However this does not mean the exodus of Celts to Eastern Mediterranean still wasn’t managed by the Phoenicians who never miss an opportunity to capitalise on some big changes.
For instance it’s not a secret that Jew Soros is heavily involved in transporting refugees from Northern Africa and war-torn Middle East to Europe.
Perhaps that’s why for the richest Phoenicians palaces and castles are not enough and they need palace size mega-yachs. In case of a natural disaster like that massive volcano eruption disrupting the food supply for a decade on the land it is better to wait it out at the sea.
We see these Jewish military leaders like Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin (Jewish wife) sweeping the whole continents and destroying empires. I think the very first one was a Semitic king Sargon of Akkad who backstabbed the Sumerians. Now should you trust Sargon of Akkad on Youtube?
Like with the above, the Sea People (Celts), Vandals, Vikings, Mongols they mastered the art of reshaping the whole continents if need be.
At 13th minute of the documentary Cooper mentions about the discovery near the coast of Turkey of a trading vessel containing tin, copper and other goods. Conveniently Cooper does not say it’s a Phoenician ship but “the ship is built of Lebanese Cedar wood and dated to about 1300BC”.
As we know the Phoenicians were heavy on the tin and copper mining and these two metals make bronze alloy which was basically the base of the military industrial complex at the time.
I reckon rather than in their kayaks the Celtic invaders (Sea People) arrived but in Phoenician ships on lease. Perhaps same like the illegal immigrants get into Europe on dinghies owned by Soros.
I come across an independent investigator from UK who found that once the illegal immigrants have landed in UK the empty dinghies are not being destroyed but taken back to France on a lorry. Both governments are on the gig at least to keep the pleb preoccupied with a new external threat while the Phoenicians inflate their balance sheets and stuff their pockets with freshly printed money.
5. the narrator says that the war between Carthaginians and Greeks over Sicily is highly contested but it happened because of a Greek tyrant of Syracuse – by the way it is a ridiculous story of Agathocles who conquered Jewish/Phoenician Hollywood/Malibu in Carthage.
You must believe that Greece was different and that there were no Phoenician bankers in Athens, Corinth or in Syracuse etc. in its core like they aren’t today in all the top central banks, right?
6. some sailors and ship builders built a replica of a Phoenician sailing vessel and have reached Florida in it proving Phoenicians could and most likely did reach Americas millennia before Columbus (another Phoenician but more modern). Read about these expeditions as well.
As I could expect one of the Phoenician ships has later been bought by the Jewish Mormons to put it in their museum in Iowa. As I have said before this must be about this story of the first encounter of Ancient Phoenicians with the Native Americans.
The Mormons claim they’ve been in America before while the “Indians” claim that centuries ago they have repelled some invaders. I reckon at the time the Native Americans didn’t want to work in Phoenician tin mines and Phoenicians didn’t have guns and gunpowder to force them to. However eventually the Native Americans have picked up the Phoenician know-how and these days build the casinos e.g. Seminole what Peter Santanello has already covered.
7. the Carthaginians / Phoenicians did not conscript other Carthaginians into their military but used all sorts of contingents of mercenaries and levies sourced from their subordinate nations what later colonial powers like Spain, France, Netherlands, Britain have replicated but as always with the secret rulers / the Phoenicians bankers at their cores.
8. In Ireland, Britain and Northern Germany during the Iron-Age the human sacrifice was present. Was this the Phoenician worship of Baal among the Celtic people maybe, the so called Wicker Man? Copying Moloch worship from their masters?
